Welcome to Serfaus! Situated on the sunny plateau of the Upper Gericht in the western Upper Inn Valley, the village of Serfaus lies at an altitude of about 1,400 meters. This family-friendly resort is surrounded by stunning alpine scenery. To the west, the slopes of the Samnaun Alps rise above 3,000 meters, while the Glockturmkamm and the idyllic Kaunertal lie to the east. About 90 kilometers southwest of Innsbruck, Serfaus is not only a premier winter sports destination but also a popular summer retreat.
Skiing and snowboarding at the highest level are available in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area. With 214 kilometers of slopes, skiers can start directly from the village. This snow-sure area offers everything winter sports enthusiasts could wish for: breathtaking panoramas, funparks, family-friendly facilities, numerous alpine huts, and exciting evening and night activities. Cross-country skiers enjoy 30 kilometers of trails, including high-altitude, snow-sure routes. Day and night sledding are also popular in Serfaus.
The sunny location also makes Serfaus a delight in summer. Whether hiking, mountaineering, or simply enjoying the alpine nature, the village offers a wide range of options. Families will especially enjoy the Serfaus Adventure World, where both children and adults can engage with the alpine environment through fun and educational activities. Adventure hikes and outdoor sports such as paragliding, climbing, rafting, and mountain biking provide plenty of action for more energetic guests.
