Bad Häring
Here at the foot of the Hoher Pölven is Bad Häring, Tyrol’s first official spa town. With the discovery of underground sulphur‑rich water, a healing spring was established here that still enjoys wide regional recognition today for its soothing and curative effects. At an elevation of 650 meters, Bad Häring lies south of Kufstein and the majestic Kaiser Mountains, at the gateway to the Central Alps.
Whether for health issues or as a place to recharge body, mind, and soul, relaxation, well‑being, and recovery are at the heart of a holiday in Bad Häring. Local hosts take this into account and offer a range of spa and wellness services. The Bad Häring spa centre provides a variety of therapies, especially focusing on conditions of the musculoskeletal system. The unique alpine nature surrounding Bad Häring completes the picture: hiking, Nordic walking, cycling, or simply wandering through the landscape and letting your mind unwind.
Bad Häring also has a fascinating tradition of local mining. With a small mining museum, themed trail, and playground, visitors can explore this heritage. Worthwhile excursions from Bad Häring include the Wilder Kaiser with the Kaisertal valley, the district town of Kufstein with its fortress, and the world‑famous Swarovski Crystal Worlds.
